to appease amy....

i update my blog. i also update to avoid humiliation. long story. well, it's not so much long as it is embarrassing. i am at school and it is too cold. but, i am going to LA for thanksgiving and i am so excited! i'm staying with grandma and donna and mary and it's gonna be great. i stayed at jake and amy's this weekend (sans jake) and we had a dance party in amy's kitchen and watched numerous episodes of Hannah Montana with mckay and kirsten and cruz. twas fun. thats about all i got right now. hope everyone is doing just swell!

i'm not very good at this...

but i'll keep trying. after a many month hiatus, i am back. in utah that is. i'm so close to idaho i can almost taste the spuds. my summer was relatively uneventful (if you dismiss the whole "my big brother got married" thing) i just worked all the summer long. which is fine, school is expensive! but, entirely worth it, so i shan't complain. i am excited for a new semester (not biology though, yuck) but everything else should be okay. i am really excited for my womens health class. ya, thats about it. i hope everyone has a good week!

i'm trying to do better...

amy k. has informed me that i need to be a more frequent blogger...so here is my attempt. i go home in 10 days! but, i must focus on school in those 10 days. next step: home, work and cleaning my house like a mad woman in preparation for wedding festivities. i'm excited to get home...i love my roommates, but sometimes you just need a break from them and i'm sure they want a break from me, so it all works out, eh? yesterday i went to jake and amy's house in idaho falls to hang out with them and their kids and i got to do my laundry! (amy is very generous with a washing machine.) we all frolicked in the yard for a while and kirsten and cruz drove around in their toy jeep. it made me remember how much i wanted one of those when i was a kid and it reminded me that i don't really like driving that much now...ironic, eh?jake made some yummy cookies and i probably had 1 or 2 too many, but since i am leslie frederickson's daughter, it is encoded on my DNA to eat chocolate chip cookies. ;) i had a lovely time plus a lovely conversation with jake on the way home. :) all in all, a good day.

hello....

it is a BEAUTIFUL day here in the city of rexburg and i am excited. my mother came for mother's weekend and i had a great time! joey and mercy drove her up from salt lake and stayed the night; it was good to see them as well. mom and i mostly just hung out with my roommates and their moms. it was fun. i was sad to see her go, but i'll be home in 4 weeks, so not too much longer. then summer! i'm pumped...

so i guess i am supposed to update this thing....here it goes. i am back in iceburg...i mean rexburg for a new semester and all is going well. i am really liking most of my classes, almost all of them are in my major, so that makes them pretty fun. anyway, hope everything is having a splendid new year!
